What that means is that you don’t have to be in person, or right next to someone in order to give them a healing.

Distance healing works by setting an intent and focusing your energy on someone that you wish to heal.

Similar to radio waves which can be heard but not seen, when it comes to energy, most of us can’t see it, but that doesn't mean it isn't working.

Reiki is the most common and well-known type of energy healing that can be done over distance, but it isn't the only one.

For example, there is also Quantum Healing, there's a new type of energy healing called, Vibralite, and there is also Crystal Healing, which we will go into more detail about later.

Is Distance Healing as Effective as Healing in Person?

Energy is everywhere and everything is made up of energy. Therefore, it doesn't matter if you are standing over your client or if you are healing them from across the world. 

Energy is energy no matter where you are. Thoughts are energy, which is why all healing modalities actually rely on our intention to work.

How Does Distance Healing Work?

To answer this question, let's look at how performing healings over distance with Reiki works.

How Reiki Works Over Distance

In Reiki, there are clear instructions and symbols that are used when long distance healings are done.

Since the symbols that are used in healings over long distance are well known, they are already a great conduit for master healings.

They dwell in the subconscious of the masses, so they act as transmitters and recipients for energy, thus making it easier and faster for the distance healing to be done.

Healing Through Intention

Putting Reiki and Reiki symbols aside for a moment, the most important factor for being able to heal over distance is the will and intent to help someone in need.

To have an open heart, true intentions, and an inner willingness to bring betterment into someone’s life is really all it takes. 

Using Crystals as Distance Healing Tools

In the same way that Reiki symbols are useful when it comes to distance healing, so are crystals.

Crystals are healing tools by themselves, but if we use them as material conduits for the healing energies, they can prove to be extremely powerful.

Programming Distance Crystal Healing

The first step to distance healing with crystals is to program them by telling them the purpose you have for them.

Some healers infuse them with their own healing energy, while others draw Reiki symbols directly on them. Some healers don’t do either; they just “program” the crystal with their intention.

One of the best methods for using crystals to heal over distance is to do one of the steps mentioned above and give the crystal to the person who is receiving the healing.

In that way the crystal will act as a physical conduit for the healing energy that is coming from the distance. 

Let’s say we want to do a sacral chakra crystal healing. We can draw the long distance healing Reiki symbol on Carnelian, and give it to the person that is receiving the healing.

Then, the next time we arrange the healing session, the person who is receiving the healing just needs to place the crystal on their sacral chakra.

Let’s say we’re working with a heart chakra crystal to help someone learn how to receive love. We can program a Rose Quartz crystal to work on healing emotional trauma, give the crystal to the person, and every time they want to receive a healing, they’ll place it on their heart area.

Distance Crystal Healing With Photos

Another method for doing long distance healing with crystals is using a photo of the person we are trying to heal.

If we’re working with a crown chakra crystal, for example, we can infuse Amethyst with an intention for the healing of that chakra.

Then we place the crystal on a photo of the person for whom we are doing the healing. Ideally we’ll be able to put the crystal on the crown of their head on the photo.

Distance Crystal Healing Through Thought

We also can simply hold the crystal between our palms and think about the person we are giving the healing to, or think about their name.

Alternatively, we can simply visualize the person’s name on the crystal itself and we do the healing to the crystal, in this case the crystal is the representation of the person upon which we’re healing.

If you’re sleeping with your distance healing stones, it would be best to smudge them each morning and before going to sleep.

This may seem like a lot of work, but just think how would it be if a surgeon reused the same scalpel in every procedure without ever sterilizing it. It would do more harm than good.
